A High Tech People's Mic - Cellphones all playing the same message on speakerphone
At demonstrations it can be hard to be heard. What if everyone had an application to play a message on speakerphone at the same time?
The general public could be targeted instead of the culprits. Instead of the message being spread through media covering traditional demonstrations and the limited number of people attending or witnessing them, the demonstration itself can become a method of distributing the message and building the movement.
The voice of the people would be loud and clear and instead of being demonstrators clustered into one space, they could be 20 feet apart. 1000 people would take up 7 football fields and the message would be heard by many more people.
Demonstrators could fill all branches of a bank at the same time.
Demonstrators could leave after the announcement is delivered and rotate through to the next location.
Distributed demonstration would be unstoppable by a concentrated police force.
Public transit like subway cars all filled with busy commuters become a target for demonstration and can instigate productive discussions and encourage involvement.
